a thousand words and more.

GO SQUISH AND ANGIE AND JEDIDAH AND THE LITTLE SISTER WHOSE NAME I FORGOT:D

a thousand words and more.

DRAMA SENIORS OF '05 AND '06:D

Me, Huda and Potato.

A bored Erica and Jephine destroying the Art Club's cups.

CATHERINE!

Asri, Shamara and me:D

TATTOOS!

Trying to do a Catherine with the styrofoam statues.

SC DRRRRRRRRRRAMA!

Laura loves Sara."The two travellers wandered through the woods, with only a dimly-lit lantern to lead their way..."

:D

HUDA AND SHAMARA!

Our prettaye masks(:

*hugs*

Erica's finger in Mask's nose. 'Nuff said.

XOXO

I haven't blogged about open house yet.
Basically, we (Sham and I) hung around the drama booth, occasionally smiling at parents, yelling "WELCOME TO THE DRAMA BOOTH!" and explaining how we clinched a GWH for SYF (:DDD).

Also had my nails manicured, got a tattoo and had my palm read.

Apparently, I am practically the opposite of Shameera. I won't have many boyfriends, don't fall in love easily, will go through a life-changing event in terms of career, spouse or home and NOT PROMISCOUS.

(Shameera is.)

Also watched a couple of teachers getting dunked. HAHAHAHA, MR LAU AND MR CHENG! ("Got dunked?!")

I am too lazy to post pictures.
Maybe in the next post.
Pft.
I'm too lazy to even bitch about certain people.

"WE HATE MIME."

Wth, man.
IF YOU HATE MIME SO MUCH, GO AND SWITCH CCAS THEN!

What a bunch of losers.

ah crap.

I watched the promos and short scenes on the GSR webby.
GO WATCH, PEOPLE:D

http://grissomsararomance.com

Click on Season Seven (at the top), scroll down until the episode "Living Doll". Then, click on "CLIPS". There are a ton of scenes/promos to choose from, so take your pick.

...

AH CRAP PLEASE DON'T LET SARA DIE.

Although I'm quite concerned for Grissom, too.
It's like he SNAPPED or something.
He was fully mumbling to himself about how much he loved Sara IN FRONT OF THE OTHERS.
SHAMEERA: LOOK AT THE LOOK ON CATHERINE'S FACE.
Grillows could take place in the near future.

Then when he was interviewing the Miniature Killer (some whacked out chick who had this thing for bleach), she went into some sort of trance, muttering all sorts of inconceivable things, AND GRISSOM GRABBED HER, SHOOK HER AND YELLED, "WHERE IS SARA?!".

Drama, manz.
There was also one scary part where the MK drew some razor thing and slit Grissom's neck.
I thought that there would be TWO casualties on the show.
But it turned out that the MK was just freaking imagining it.
Eff her.

The final scene showed Sara pinned under the red Mustang, scratching at the dirt.
Poor, poor, poor, POOR her.
Apparently, the reason she was picked out as a victim was ALL BECAUSE OF GRISSOM.

Great.

Grissom supposedly sent this whacked out chick's lover to jail, and in revenge, she took Sara out with a freaking CAR.
Pft. EFF EFF EFF YOU.

However, there is one good thing:
The MK admitted that she didn't kill Sara.

Just pinned her underneath a freaking upsidedown red Mustang.

Damn.
TALK ABOUT WHACKED.

And then the bloody season finale went,
TO BE CONTINUED
in silvery letters.

Go watch the final scene if you don't believe me.

Oh wells.

I guess we'll have to wait for September.
(Which is when Season Eight starts airing in US.)

In the mean time, though, I'll just run through Seasons Two, Three, Four, Six and Seven.

&i've had a bad day

WHY TODAY REALLY REALLY SUCKS:
1. I didn't get anything Mrs Lee was saying in Maths.
2. NO PE.
3. Health-screening.
4. The effing nurse totally made me (and Nadia!) feel so VIOLATED.
5. Missed Science and the chance to speak to Ms Lee about my incorrect marks for CA1.
6. Missed English and the oppurtunity to slack around and discuss the documentary.
7. All because of the effing health-screening.
8. Fries from McDonald's were all soggy and gross.
9. Inability to watch CSI: Las Vegas until AFTER my violin lessons.
10. Stupid effing next-door-neighbours turning their stereo on full blast to Natasha Beddingfield, Celine Dion, Justin Timberlake (THEY PLAYED SEXY BACK LIKE A FRIGGIN' TWELVE TIMES. ON FULL BLAST.) and Daniel Powter.
11. They played Bad Day, too.

GAK.

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.

...

I fully spport Sandle and/or GSR:D

BUT NOT FRIGGIN' GOFIA *coughickkkwhothoughtupofthisnamecough* AND LADY HEATHER/GRISSOM (EWWWWWW.)

but honestly, being a dominatrix ROCKS.

AND PEOPLE THINK SARA SIDLE IS THE MINIATURE KILLER.
No way.
NONONO WAY.

Pft.
If I had cable, I could totally figure out what's going on with this Miniature Killer.

but:
YAYYE.
CSI: LAS VEGAS SHOWING TONIGHT.
CHANNEL FIVE.
TUESDAYS.
10 PM.
WATCHWATCHWATCH.

Hrms.
Well.
In US, The Good, the Bad, and the Dominatrix aired.
LADY HEATHER WAS IN IT AND IT WAS REVEALED THAT GRISSOM SPENT NIGHTS WITH HER.
WHICH IMPLIES THAT HE SLEPT WITH HER.
WHEN HE WAS ALREADY WITH SARA.
THIS MEANS THAT ________.
effffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff.
stupid CBS writer.

Poor Sara.
(Even Sham supports GSR, although she can't stand Sara, for reasons I am unable to fanthom.)

BUT HEY.
IF GRISSOM BREAKS UP WITH HER, SHE GETS TO BE WITH GREG!
(OKAY, so she's older than him.
But look at CatNick! And I like CatNick.
Plus Greg is hothothot.)

God.
I hope Lady Heather goes to jail and is never heard of again.
Appearing in four episodes has made me sick enough, thanks.

no offence, melinda clarke.

sunshine, freedom, and a little flower

THANKS MRS LOW BUT I DON'T THINK I HAVE ANY OF THOSE.

I swear to God.

Today has been a most pissifying day:
1) I got a really really really bad score on Science. GOODBYE GOOD CLASS.
2)My mother isn't allowing me to watch CSI, even though I fully behaved my self today.
3) English today. NEED I SAY MORE???
4) Violin teachers got pissed off at me today.
5) Because my mother was watching her stupid North and South (whatever THAT is!), and failed to send me to violin ONE TIME.
6) My throat feels funny and when I try to swallow, it HURTS.
7) There is an unsightly scab on my toe which hurts whenever I stand.
8) Mosquitoes love me today.
9) I didn't get quadratic formulas in Maths class today.

If anyone had one of the above, they'd get pissed off.
BUT I HAVE ALL NINE OF THEM.
So imagine how pissed off I am NOW.

CSI: Las Vegas((((((((((((:

I LOVELOVELOVE CSI.
i am an ADDICT. XD

Shamimi and I just went to Google and Wiki CSI: Las Vegas.
RESULTS WERE FANTASTIC.
(Wiki is so much better, thugh.)

Suspicions of Greg, the hottaye Lynn likes, having a crush on Sara Sidle have been confirmed.
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
Too bad she's sleeping with Grissom, though.

Speaking of Sara...
SHE IS NOT FRIGGIN' COMING BACK FOR SEASON EIGHT.
SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.

HOW CAN LIDDAT ONE?!
(This is the aunty in me coming out.)

The season finale of Season Seven is going to involve her in a cliffhanger.
OMGGGGGGGGGGGG.
Apparently, she isn't turning up for Season Eight due to her being fired a while ago for failing to submit a letter confirming her return to film the series.

ACCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.
IHATEYOUCBSSSSS.
BETTER INVITE JORJA FOX BACK TO FILM SOME MOREEEEEEEEEEEE.
=(

ninety.

Quite pissed off today.
At three people, mainly.
One, a person whom I thought as a friend, who turned out to be a backstabber.
Two, an annoying and inconsiderate fool.
Three, a 'friend' who won't stop putting me down and keeps boasting how much better she is.

Nice.

Monday, April 30, 2007

Oh, Boy

i never liked guys who were prone to bouts of moodiness, forget my birthday or ignored me for EVER, leaving me staring at a blank MSN conversation.

ETC.

The previous post was, sadly, short as I posted during Music and Mrs Goh was walking around, checking our projects.

BUT OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

GOLD WITH HONOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ms Chua called us up this morning, telling us, "Oh, lots of schools got COP (Certificate of Participation), a lot dropped to silver rank, and only seven schools clinched a Gold..." yadda yadda yadda. THEN she went on to tell us how only two-TWO- schools got a Gold with Honours.

By this time, we were all really fustrated, biting our nails and thinking, "SO DID WE GET A GOLD WITH HONOURS??? OMGOMGOMG I DON'T THINK WE DID..."

A pause.

"Two schools got Gold with Honours. One of them was RI..."

Oh.
Damn.

"... the other was SCGS!!!!!!!!!"

When we heard the letters 'SC', our little group erupted into a display of screams, tears, jumping around and hugs. Poor Joy the Boy burst into tears immediately upon hearing the news! Hahahaha. I have to admit, I cried a bit as well.

But ohmygoodness.
WE'RE THE FIRST BATCH TO GET A GOLD WITH HONOURS.

bite the dust

Bite the dust
Trust me, anything you can doI can do better than you
Bite the dust
Some things remain impossible
You're no exception to rules
Bite the dust
How many times I go to tell you?
He don't even see you
Bite the dust
You see, I'm really helping you
I'm keeping you from looking a fool
She's got a plan to have my man
She's going to have to deal with me

Ooh, sugar I got him
I got 20/20 vision
I can see that you want my man
Ooh, sugar I got him
'Cause it's my job
To make you understand
Ooh, sugar I got him
Try to make a move
And I'm on him like 5-0
Ooh, sugar I got him
So you can go
'Cause I got him
Got him

Bite the dust
Baby girl, I really hope
You get the message I'm trying to convey
Bite the dust
'Cause you're pushing me to the edge
And I ain't got time to play
Bite the dust
How many times I got to tell you?
He's where he wants to be
Bite the dust
Keep on, act like you didn't know
My hands going to do the talking today
She's got a plan to have my man
She's going to have to deal with me

got it?

&we had magic dust in our hair

Jeph, Jiahui, Ipoh, Me, Sham, Chaisy, Beaver and Ratina!
OKAYYY, so some of the pictures look weird. Our mouths look weird because as the photo person was snapping away, we were yelling stupid things at the camera, like "A DOOR WAS OPENED", "MAGIC", "JEREMIAH", and some other stuff. Oh, and I recall a conversation between Farhana and Yvonne:

FARHANA: Let's say Hoopoe next!
YVONNE: NOOOO, Falcon!
FARHANA: HOOPOE!!!

Rics, Jovel, Sham, Melli, Jackie, Me, Lizzie, Cassi and Nat Yeo

The MUSICIANS-- Rics, Nat Sim, Jovel, Nat Yeo, Chaisy and Jeph.

She said:

there is no number high enough to match the amount of times we'll have to say that to properly portray our love.
I still (platonically) love you guys anyway.

Thanks(: (in no exact order)

For the cake.
For the rehearsals.
For the scolding.
For the crying.
For the beautiful props.
For the really, REALLY long conversation with mainly all the Sec. Two Drama SYF peeps which was filled with heartfelt words, "magic"s and the occasional leaving of people.
For the tear stains on my keyboard.
For the laughter.
For the fun.
For the stage.
For the hard work.
For the lovely script.
For the wonderful actresses(:
For the cool dewde.
For the Simorgh.
For the pushing.
For the Fire.
For the forget-me-not memories.
For the constant reminders.
For the heavy responsibility.
For the Happyness for acheiving 19.38 minutes.
For the commitment.

For the Magic.

RHILLE !

I have been thinking.
Should I change my screen name to 'rhille'?
I never even LIKED my name much.
Pft.
But rhille.
Now THAT'S nice.

Cos you never know how to pronounce it.
Maybe it's one of the things I like best about it.
ANDANDAND it starts with an 'R'.
Which is for Random.
Which is what this post will be.

This is really late, but I don't care.I'm angry. I'm really, really mad at this stupid idiot ass of a male who is breaking your heart. He needs a good lynching, a couple tight slaps and to hang upside down in nothing but his undies from the flagpole because honestly.Ass. He needs one heck of a good scolding. Rah.Okay, that's enough about the bloody bastard. What matters is you. Don't give a damn about him anymore. Like Sham said, you're still young. You have plenty of fish to choose to suit your palate and I can bet you that they'll be flopping before you. (: Know what, just screw him. He has absolutely no idea what he's giving up because he is dumb, he is stupid and he is going to regret this and hopefully fling himself off a building while swallowing knives and donning a g-string. Cause he deserves that sort of punishment. Rawr.Well, Laura. You're young and beautiful, and a loss like him is hardly worth your tears. So come on, I'll give you a hug and a chocolate and hang him from the fourth story or something. So don't you worry: cause we all love you, our dear stage manageress. (:
-JOYYYYYY

:D
ILOVEYOUPLATONICALLYMYDEARJOYY!
XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Also.
Went out today.
In search for donations for THE GARH (or smth.) PROJECT.
It helps people in Nepal, Japa (or smth) to build homes.
ALL (yes, ALL) proceeds from the sale of bookmarks/post-its and donations DO (yes, do) go to this project.
100%
ALL.
Really.

I also found out I cannot stand the Singaporeans of today.
I swear, they won't even put in a bloody FIVE CENTS into the donation envelope!!!
And while I fully understand that some of them may be in a hurry, I don't see why you can't even donate FIVE CENTS or buy a POST-IT NOTEBOOK for FIVE DOLLARS when you are carrying a shopping bag filled with LOUIS VUITTON PRODUCTS, WEARING D&G SUNGLASSES AND LINING UP TO THE ENTRANCE OF THE SINGAPORE FASHION FESTIVAL.

Today.

I am so fcuked up.
I don't know what I want out of this anymore.
Thanks you for all the tags, sham, natty, Ris, Wern Ching and Ratio(: They really cheered me up.
I've been too EMOtional these days.
Today was quite fun.
Had a fire drill in the morning (thus missing what would look like an extremely confusing lesson of Maths), where we were BURNING HAWT.
Then we had our VERY LAST LESSON with Ms Cheong! :(

(That's Ms Cheong in WHITE!)
During Chinese, we calculated our CA1 marks, and I missed B3 by a mere 0.9 marks.
T_T
We slacked during English, taking photographs for our Newspaper thingy (Sham as FRANCOIS! Shall post pics after the submition of our Newspaper) and I took several nice photos there, too. School is actually a good place to take lovely photos:D
For last period, Ms Lee was absent, so we just had some weird, pointless debate thingy about whether or not cloning was benefitial to mankind.
DRAMA!

Choir came to watch us perform.
We were so excited and high, with all the adrenaline pumping through us.
I felt so HAPPY when Mr. Choy told us it was our BEST rehearsal yet, and our timing was 19.52(:
I am so happy.
I cannot wait for the SYF.
I love you, DRAMlets(:

Time Enough For My Tears

I wonder how we came to be.
Everything seemed so wonderfully Fairytale at first; I was the damsel in "distress"; you, the knight in Shining Armour galloping up on a white steed.
But Fairytales never end Happily Ever After.
How was I to know?

Instead, we drifted further apart, separated by our distance, the animosity between our respective friends.
They don't think I'm good enough for you.
They don't think you're good enough for me.

(Fair Enough.)

But now, you shamelessly flirt with the girls who once went, to me, "Yeuu aRRee a SLuTt", and even insist upon adding all my friends' on Friendster/MSN/whatever, sometimes even adding random girls off the street and commending them on their beauty.

You always talk to them.
You laugh with them.
You smile at them.
You charmed them.
But what about me?

Am I simply an 'item' in your Jeweled Collection of telephone numbers, email addresses and number of girls talked to?
Are you tired of me, and thus stored me in a corner, like an ugly old hat stand: unattractive, but useful?
I notice that whenever you talk to me, it is only to ask me of a favour, a request.
Sure, we do mumble greetings at one another and occasionally ask how our days went, but it's not the same anymore.

You used to make me laugh with your witty, cheeky antics.
I miss your mysterious smile that extended right up to your eyes.
I used to be your good friend.
Is it because of The Confessions which ruined it all?
Which caused you to start avoiding me, and seek solace with someone else?

You used to tell me your secrets, your Deepest, Darkest fears.
I kept them, wrapped tightly in a blanket and stored in the inner depths of my heart.
Thus it became a part of me, too; if I could help share the burden, surely it would help.

You used to care.
You'd take any oppurtunity to talk to me, even a simple, "HEY HOW DID YOU DO IN YOUR TEST TODAY?".
I could tell you eveything that was bothering me.
But are you rattling them off to your friends as I type?
I haven't told anyone. I really haven't.
But I don't know if I can trust you anymore.
Show me I can.

I wonder if I ever did like you.
The tilt of the corners of your mouth would engage me to smile, too.
Your laugh made me laugh.
And the intensity of your eyes made me feel as if I could fall into them, Forever and Ever.
If your name was mentioned, my heart would skip a beat.
Anybody who talked bad about you would soon be reprimanded by me.
I didn't believe in those things that they said.

But I don't know what's happening now anymore.

Give me a sign.
Talk to me.

Streamers

!@#$%

Went to watch the new Mr. Bean movie with my paternal cousins on Friday. :D
We've become quite close-knit lately, like since the beginning of this year. XD
The movie was quite funny, and mostly in...
*get ready for this, Shams*
FRENCH!!!
XD
But there were subtitles, so it was understandable.

After that, went to Swenson's for dinner, then the rest went off to the arcade while Jesslyn and I trawled the shops.
We went to this shop with this VERY irritating lady who kept pushing clothes at me, even though I SPECIFICALLY told her I didn't like the style of this baby doll dress, or it was too expensive.
But she just went, "Very nice! Very nice!" in Chinese and thrust everything in the dressing room, and kept following us some more.
WTH. How... DESPERATE.
Jesslyn was whispering in my ear, 'Fcuk. So annoying lah!'
Eventually, I didn't buy anything from the shop (the top I liked wasn't made out of good material and cost a whopping $30! The SKIRT I liked cost $29.90-- "On sale! On sale!").
I only managed to escape cos some other woman took the clothes, while the annoying one attended to a poor couple.
I fully appreciate the fact that some people need to make money, but really, why go to that extent???
I MIGHT HAVE bought something, but due to the annoying, stalker-like service, which, I can tell you, is one that we all hate (I prefer the look-sweet-and-stand-by-the-counter-until-needed type).

At around 10.30PM, when they had all finished with their arcade stuff, Kenneth and Justin went home while Jeffrey, Jessica, Jesslyn and I tried to hail a cab.
They were all either full, empty but mysteriously 'On Call', empty with the 'HIRED' sign on, or NOT heading to Bukit Timah:
"Where you going?"
"Bukit Timah!"
"Cannot, I go Clementi!"
OI.
Isn't Bukit Timah ON THE WAY to Clementi???
Even I, geographically-challenged Singaporean, know that!!!
And aren't taxi drivers supposed to be like road-savvy and stuff?
GOD.
HOW ANNOYING.
So around 11PM, after crossing the road and changing hailing locations several times, we gave up and got my auntie to send us home.
Stupid taxi drivers.

Something(s) that Happened

Hello all(:
Haven't been posting for a couple of days.

SO.

As everyone in GY knows, we have been running through SC's supply of English teachers.
In fact, Lil Sis has realised that our EL teachers resemble HP's Defence Against The Dark Arts teachers:

*shudder*

Anyway, since our English periods are usually free, we GY people make full use of them.
FOR EXAMPLE, Shameera, Lil Sis, AT, Nadia and I will sometimes engage in a game of Pencil Court.
And yesterday, we (minus Nadia) played lawyer.
Shamimi played the gay guy.
For more details, check out her (SHAMIMI) blog.
XD

Today my horoscope told me to lay down my OWN policies of love, and tell a supposed *partner* what I expect in this game of love.

Hey, whatever.

Smile for me

Today was a good day. :D
Well, some stupid ass yelled at me today just for telling AT what her English mark was.
Byotch.
But nevermind about HER.
*rolls eyes*

Today we ran 10 rounds race.
To tell you the truth, running as a class was way more effective than running individually.
WE GOT 100% PASSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL.
THANK YOU NADIA, MEL, CHAISY, LYNN AND MONICA FOR LEADING (AND PUSHING) US TO ACHIEVE A 100% PASS! :D

Whoots.
And even the little things helped:
-Monica helping empty my hole-puncher (thanks!) (:
-My group getting 2 points for answering a Maths question correctly
-Understanding everything in Science
-Having fun in History
-Laughing and crapping a lot with SHAMIMI
-Not screwing up in OM spontaneous even though I couldn't think of anything to say!
-Sewing session CANCELLED.

OM (Oh, man)

Had OM Long Term Problem today.
I think it went quite well. :D Well, the teachers laughed. :/ Does that count???

Then when I went down to have lunch, Farhana came up to me as I was taking my wallet out of my bag and went, "I hope you're not going to buy food now, Laura, because Drama started twenty minutes ago."

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I was forced to eat a super-quick lunch with Joyce (the only other Drama member I could find) and then we went up to the KA.
WHERE WE GOT OUR BACKSTAGE COSTUMES.
:DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I know.
BACKSTAGE has costumes?!
Whoa.

I love my skirt.
It's all blue and scrunched-up.
When I go out to some 5 star restaurant or smth, instead of wearing jeans, I can wear that instead.
But I hate the top.
It's a bloody V-neck, and when I bend over... *ahem*
It also makes my shoulders look uber wide.
Pft.
Oh wells.

AT LEAST WE GOT PRETTY COSTUMES(:

OM spontaeneous tmr.
Dammit.

&i'm just down

I've been quite EMOtional these few days.
And thank you, Joy, for so heartily approving of me lynching him in Mickey Mouse underpants from the school flagpole.
It'd give the school a lot of publicity. :D

Today, we had STREAMING BRIEFING.
I was quite freaked out by all the courses to choose from, but I am strongly gravitating to a Full Literature, Half Geography, Bio.&Chem. combination.
God forbid letting life be easier.
I think I'll put my Humanities as my PRIORITY choice.
ON NO ACCOUNT AM I GOING TO LET SOMEONE ELSE TAKE AWAY THAT FULL LIT., HALF GEOG. PLACE.
As for Science...
Well, I want that combo. too.
Damn.
So hard to make choices.

After the briefing, Sarah, Ris and I had lunch in school before going on a 45 minutes walk to Lil Sis' place for OM project.
Practiced for 3 hours straight, and I think we'll be OK tomorrow. :D
Oh, and Laura's maids cook such nice potato&leek soup! :D Plus the nice sausages (PROTEIN) and baked beans.

Anyway, anyone who has read Sham's blog will know that a couple of girls called her tards.
SOOOOOO POLITE.
Humph. Ought to write a damn letter to their stupid school for letting their girls' manners standard drop so low.
God, it's like the time my blog got SPAMMED.
I hate those girls.
Not like I went over to them and spat in their faces!
PLUS they are so ah lian, writing KNS and weird acronyms like that.
Mine were easier to understand: BFH(: [BITCH FROM HELL]
Those girls came from _GS (not mentioning any names here...), and I tell you, they really are a foul-mouthed bunch.
But I know other students from that school who are really nice, so I suppose those girls are just a couple of rotten eggs.
Every school will have some.
Hello, they even had the nerve to pull in our school, and even called us SC girls 'prostitutes' who *ahem* masturbated ourselves!
WHAT NERVE.
They also mentioned how we are a couple of low-life, effing assholes and bitches.
Hum...
My tagboard was so full of stars. -.-

Oh well.
Even when they said 'sorry', they still spammed a bit more until our Finals were over.
Who are the bitches now, my friends?

Hell, NO ONE who was friends with them tried to stop them.
You know who I'm talking about, people.
Lynch, indeed.

love loves Difficult Things

Homework.
Homework.
Projects.
Study.
Study some more.
Pressure is suffocating me,
like an invisible rag clamped over my nose and mouth,
I'm drowning in homework.

Today I glanced out of the SMRT taxi window at the inked sky.
And I couldn't help feeling sorry for the taxi driver.
He has to work such long hours, and earn so little.

But I felt sorrier for myself.
I lay my head on the smooth leather seat and felt my empty heart beat.
I am loved.
But not enough.

And I know I'm losing it.
Going, going, going...
Is it gone yet?
I want it back.
I know someone stole your Love, in the middle of the night, where dreams and shadows are free. She took it as I slept in the moonlight, and in the morning, you weren't there.
It's not easy loving you.

You've always said you liked me.
But we never forged that special bond we promised to,
we never went out like we meant to,
and we certainly never lasted like we wanted to.
Tell me, were your feelings true?

Love sets fire to each harvest.
Saccharine,
mind-numbing,
indescribable sensation it was.
Even though a mountain and a sea were between us,
everyday seemed like a glimmer of hope,
a promise of a lazy, much-awaited conversation that was the
highlight of the day.

But it didn't last, did it?
Like a child who grew bored with her doll,
you cast me aside,
and turned to something more 'entertaining',
'better'.
While I sat in the corner,
rosy lips parted,
hair in a tangle,
my arm pale where you brushed against it.
My glassy eyes brimming with tears which fell thick asnd fast in the cotton dress you sewed lovingly for me,
and I asked why, what happened?
What went wrong?

You never replied my silent scream.
But I'm not going till I've got an answer.

Someone said...

Sometimes, it's not about holding on; it's about letting go.

On bus 16A

Contemplative.
I think about that word.
What does it mean?
The bus rumbles on, cutting a double-white line.
I hate that.

I'm too lazy to find out (why people won't abide the laws of traffic), so I turn back to page 72 of my textbook.
Diffusion is the movermkgionb ew jerojgg reohgpyh ahforb egjky phjbshg.
The words swim,
nothing makes sense
and the books snaps shut.
I decide to move on to Literature.

As I casually flip through the book, I eavesdrop on the primary schoolers' conversations.
They are talking about Maplestory and their zodiac sign.
One girl whispers to another.
Can ask that girl what her zodiac is?
I can hear you, you know.

The overhead air-conditioner hums an incessant tune, cold hair on end.
And I think of him.
Is this the real thing?
Should I drop it like a hot potato?
My friends disapprove.
Do I listen to my head, or my heart?

Sometimes, at night, I wake up and look at the pictures he sent.
And I wonder if he does the same.

The chatter is rythymic,
the gentle movement of the bus lulling,
and the book slips from my grasp as my head lolls onto the squashy chair-back.

With a jarring jolt,
I wake up to the irate horn of my bus driver.

I'm BAAAAACK!

There were so many ups and downs in Adventure Camp.
:D
But I still enjoyed it sososo MUCH.
But when I first saw the squat toilets, I was like, "GAKKKKK."
But I survived! XD

DAY ONE
Group Five and Six (GY peeps) earned bonus points by tucking in our shirts the fastest out of all three classes!
^^
LOLs.
My group's name was Chanel.
We added the "Number Five" part due to our group number. XD
Then we moved floorboards to this field.
And we started to pitch tents.
I must add that at this point, dark, grey clouds started to drift across the sky.
So while we were happily banging away at the things you drive into the ground to keep the tent up, little droplets of water started to fall upon us.
And by the time lunch was ready, it was raining full out.
DAMN.
And because of the stupid rain, we missed abseling and rock-climbing.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:(
DAMMIT, YOU STUPID RAINNNNNN.
Instead, we had fun making up cheers in the covered area, and challenging SY and SE to cheer-offs. Also had belay/billay school! :D Shameera had to hold onto Borat's (nickname for Group 6's trainer), and she looked like she was enjoying it A LOT .
We eventually ventured out into the rain sometime after lunch to the Milo Pond (read: hole where all the dirty water goes) to sit in inner tubes to cross the pond, while figuring out how to get all the GEEWHYs across with only four life jackets.
Oh, and we got soaking wet.
Everyone looked as if they had gone into a shower turned on full blast with their clothes on, and Chaisy even poured the entire contents of her bottle on Nadia!
LOLs.
Then I changed (no WAY was I going to shower in full view of everyone) in the cubicle (the squat toilets-- EURGH!) and squelched my way to the tent I shared with AT, Ris, Lil Sis, Natalie, Joanna and Wern Ching.

DAY TWO
The day begun early.
VERY early.
As in 2AM early.
Everyone but Wern Ching woke up, then went back to sleep.
Then at 3AM, I woke up again, this time with only Natalie and Jo:
Me: What time is it?
Jo: Erm... *checks watch* 3.15.
Me: OO
Natalie: I need to go to the toilet.
So we all went out into the rain and squished up the slippery, muddy slope, and came back.
Then we woke up at FIVE.
I mean, GODDDDDD.
I SLEPT AT ONE, AND WOKE UP LIKE THREE BLODY TIMES!!!
And it didn't help that condensation occured in the inside of our tent, and the water kept hitting my sleeping bag and making it wet.
PFT.
~
Rained all day, too. Had to wear shorts inside track pants. So uncomfortable. -.-
We did ABSELING first, but I didn't get to do it (phew), cos there wasn't enough time.
Then we went to CHALLENGE VALLEY and we all went through this tunnel made out of tyres. It was DIRTY, it was WET, it was FUN. LOLs. And my butt got stuck. -.- But several people got through the tunnel easily, "like a javelin", as quoted by Nadia, javelin-throwing champion. (:
Some of the others went on a slide into the Milo Pond as well, but remembering what went into the pond, I refused to go in.
After that, we went to the seaside to compete with group 6 to see who could build a better raft out of tyres, wooden poles and rope. We had a tie! :D LOLs. But ours was more "aesthetically pleasing"!
Then we went... KAYAKING!!! Stupid Tammy abandoned me and I partnered Claudia instead. We kept going off course and laughed like sh*t. LOL. The whole of GY covered a massive area, and we even saw the military camp on Malaysia!
Lauren also made up a song, getting inspiration from the water flowing out of her shoes ("I have a river in my shoe!").
But a lot of people got cuts and stuff on the rock, and while we were doing ou boyouncy test, Elle peed in the sea!!!!! :O
After that, we changed back into track pants (with our WET SHORTS INSIDE) and trudged to the HANGOUT, where we belayed and went on the low/high elements. I was damn scared, due to my phobia of heights, especially when Mrs De asked me to WALK BACKWARDS, but I managed it!(:
Yayye.
But you should have seen Jephine; she didn't even need to hold on to the rope, and didn't wobble at all.
Damn. We should all take up fencing!
~
After that, we went to shower, and while I was helping Angie change, some crazy trainer came into the girls' toilet and threw a piece of watermelon skin poor Joy. Then the trainer went, "Haiyoh, girl, what that weird look for?" (Joy was wearing a look which obviously said, "WTH"). "Help me throw away, hor!"
Then the trainer walked away while laughing crazily.
oO
SICK, I tell you.
Sick.
~
After dinner, we haad CAMPFIREEEE.
We performed our "SSSSS, IT'S HOT IN HERE!", "EVERYBODY DANCE NOW" (with a pail), "LOVE" and our bimbo cheer.
Haha, campfire was really, really fun. :D
Too bad it had to end...
And then some trainers came over to us and dumped water on Botak's head, splashing the front row in the process.
(Thank goodness I chose the last row to sit in! :D)
That night, we slept in the SAI building. Cleaner and cooler than the tent we pitched! (:
But I still missed it.

DAY THREE
Woke up at five and mistook it for six; woke up AT and Shams, told them it was six.
Found out it was five.
AT and Shams glared at me, and went back to sleep.
-.-
I managed to persuade AT to wake up, and we went down to get our clothes and change.
At 7AM, we removed the tents' floorboards, cleaned them up, then ate breakfast.
Soon, we waved goodbye to Sarimbun camp from the inside of a bus, singing songs all the while.
When we arrived at Kallang, we went DRAGON-BOATING!!!
Whee. (:
Chanel No. 5 came in second for one of the races!!! Oooh, yeahhh.
Before going back, though, they told us to sit on the sides of the boat. oO
I didn't want to, but we had to lah, and when we did, there was much screaming from both sides as the boat rocked and rocked and rocked.
It was sad finishing up the last activity, but Lesley and I were like, "WTBH" when we had to lug our heavy bags all the way to the nearby stadium.
When we reached there, we were so happy and gobbled down our lunch, but still being hungry, L&I went to the cafeteria and blew our my money on food and drinks.

~

I suppose that's it. All we did after that was go back to school, do one final round of cheers, sing "LAUREN HAS A RIVER IN HER SHOE", and did Lynn's cheer:
Lynn: I say Borat you say Botak! Borat!
Us:Botak!
Lynn:Borat!
Us:Botak!
And vice versa...
We also had prize-giving, and while Chanel No. 5 didn't win anything, at least our GY counterpart won one of the "Best Groups" award! :DDDDDDDDDDD

Good God.
No more "SC OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!" "OIIIIIII!"s.
No more "GIVE ME ONE SISSY CLAP!" "*clap* Haiyahhhhh!"s.
No more "REPEAT AFTER ME!"s.

If it wasn't for the toilets, mud, rain and blisters, I'd love to go back to Sarimbun Camp.
Like now.

Adventure Camp

See ya'll soon(:

And hello, Mother Nature with the ridiculous cramped tents and primitive toilets.
(Outhouses.
'Nuff said.)
